We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. However、because hotels, domestic transportation (flights and high-speed trains), and local guiding services in China must be booked and secured well in advance, cancellation fees will apply in accordance with international tourism standards.

1. Standard Cancellation Fee Schedule

Unless otherwise specified for peak seasons or specific promotional products, the following fees apply based on when we receive your written cancellation notice via email (Beijing Time, GMT+8):

  • 30 days or more prior to departure: Non-refundable deposit only (covers administrative fees and non-refundable train/air tickets already issued).
  • 29 to 15 days prior to departure: 10% of the total tour price.
  • 14 to 7 days prior to departure: 30% of the total tour price.
  • 6 to 3 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour price.
  • Within 48 hours prior to departure: 80% of the total tour price.
  • Within 24 hours of departure or No-Show: 100% of the total tour price (No refund).

2. Special Exceptions (Domestic Flights & High-Speed Trains)

  • China High-Speed Train Tickets: Once issued, train tickets are subject to the official refund policies of China Railway. Any cancellation fees incurred will be deducted from your refund.
  • Domestic Flights in China: Many discounted domestic airfares inside China are non-refundable and non-changeable per airline regulations.
  • Peak Seasons: For tours booked during major Chinese holidays (e.g., National Day Golden Week in October, Chinese New Year), stricter cancellation policies apply and will be detailed in your specific itinerary quotation.

3. Refunds & Banking Fees

  • All refunds will be processed via the original payment method (e.g., Credit Card, PayPal, Stripe, or Wire Transfer).
  • Please note that international transaction fees, credit card processing fees (approx. 2%-4%), and potential losses caused by currency exchange rate fluctuations are non-refundable and must be borne by the client.

4. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive Travel Cancellation Insurance in your home country. This protects you against financial loss in the event of unexpected cancellation due to illness, flight disruptions, or other unforeseen emergencies.
